Does anybody know what the fitness requirements are for weekend 1?
The next weekend 1 is the beginning of December so I've only got a few months to train for it. My fitness isn't great at the moment because of a sports injury.

4 PARA Midlands?
Does 4 PARA have a company in the Midlands?
On the website it says that it recruits nationally but it only has companies in the south & the north.
Are there any guys from the Midlands that travel to one of the other companies i.e London?

Medical Assistant
I'm interested in joining the Royal Navy as a Medical Assistant but don't know which way to go.
I've been told by the careers office that there is a long waiting list and that the only way to get in quick is going submarine is that right?

Thanks for all your answers. I do exercise but not everyday. I did 1.5 miles in 9:58 when I was 18 (which is a few years ago now) but I would probably struggle to get it under 10:30 at the moment.
I guess what your saying is to wait untill I'm fit rather than to try my luck now.
It may not be the ...

The Right Time
I'm sorry if some of these questions have been answered before. The problem is that I want to join the Royal Marines but I am unsure about the right time to apply.
At the moment its fair to say that I'm unfit. I'm also alittle bit overweight (I'm 5'5 75 kgs should be about 68kgs) so a part of me ...

Application process
This is a question for people that are currently or have just recently completed the application process.
Is the application process at the AFCO the same for joining all of the armed forces?
I ask because a relative of mine has just applied to join the army and has been given a medical form to ...
