Hi all. Completed week 3 of tg course on friday. I'm on capitals flight which i have been told is the toughest course to pass out of but produces the best soldiers. Hi again fellas

Whilst on the subject of kit, i was advised to invest on a pair of sorbothane insoles but the place where i ordered them from have ran out. Does anyone have any ideas where to get some or any alternatives that are similar? Any ideas guys an gals?

Thanks aes i think i will. It was just i was at the Afco last week with the other lads who are going down on the same day and there was much debate as to whether or not to take one so just thought i'd post on here to see what lads who have been there and done it had to say. whats with the being funny? Obviously i won't be using an ironing board in the desert i think your just meant to have one in basics to HELP you to make things easier.

Good information thanks. Also while on the subject of laundry what is the availability of ironing boards? I'm travelling by 2 trains so would preferably not want to have to carry one if possible?

Trainee Gunner Course 21/08/2005

Hi all. Just wondered if anyone else is starting TG on 21st August? If so how is your preperation going? What sort of stuff you been doing and do you feel prepared? My prep has gone excellently so far with only just over a week to go. Just can't wait to get through those gates on the 21st.

Kit list for TG

Hi to all. Over the last couple of weeks i have been buying kit from the list the AFCO gave me to take with me on TG. Just wondered if there was anything thats not mentioned on the list that may be of use to me on TG? Any replies are appreciated.
