Cheers Adam, that would make sense. I`m not sure about this new OSM, it seems that you`ll end up with an unlimited amount of medals all the same, but with different ribbons. The wheel is already starting to fall off with the Afgan medal, with and without clasp, and now I`m told its with or without a ...

That would seem to make sense, otherwise you`d have all the world and his dog aplying for a medal 10 to 15 years after leaving the forces. I assume that you must have to have some sort of regular commitment, in order to qualify. I think i`m right in saying that you can only been called up once every ...

Wings
Cheers Guys, that is interesting. I assume then that the RAF don`t do P Company, just the jumps. So to that end do they jump in in order to fight?
Haven`t heard about the wings moving to your chest before, but i have seen guys wearing different countries wings, i think the Canadian ones look the ...

Volunteer reserve long service medal???
Hi,
I`ve been told about the existance of a VLSRM, or something along those lines, I can find nothing on the net about it. Has anyone heard of it, what does it look like, and whats the criteria for it?
BJOW.

RAF/RA(Aux)F Medal naming??
Hi,
Can anyone tell me why RAF medals are simpley named as RAF, unlike the army which names the Regiment or Unit served in?
Also are RAF (AUX) medals named such or are they just named RAF?

RAF POLICE
Hi John,
I think the simple answer is no.
But it would be nice if we did.
The only bonus I have, if you can call it that, is that the army pay me what the police pay me, and I can continue with my police pension.
