Sounds like we got it easy :-? Worst thing we had was a week or so of Commodores rounds. Saw a few classes get the running kit musters, good laugh.

No idea what branch our DO was, but she was new to the job, and seemed nervous... she didn't get involved much at all :/

I'm at Collingwood now ...

Clothes don't have to be folded to precicely A4, but in that region. We all folded around A4 boards anyway for convienience if anything, and because our Divisional staff were still keen on the old standards.

Also, you aren't actually meant to use the washing machines, thats just the laundry for ...

As long as you keep control of your nerves, there isn't much that can go wrong. Just read the questions carefully, but try not to take your time too much, as a few peeps dont manage to finish the test. If you can't think how to do a question, leave it and go back to it.

Basically, the tests are just a general test on your intellectual abilities. Theres nothing as such that you can practice on.

The guys in our intake just got our RORRS2 reports today with score on, and the non-tiffs had about 60/120, with the tiffs about 80-90/120, and a few of us 110+. The test ...

We got quite a few hefty guys on our intake. You don't do your real PTa (1.5 mile) until week 5, thought have a practice at end of week 1. Was a shite day, and only about half my class would have passed if it was real :/ I normally run max 9mins on a treadmill, and got 11mins in the practice, deary ...

I'm at the end of week 3 at Raleigh at the min. The drill sargeant ain't too bad actually, but he only joined a week or 2 ago, and has to keep asking the PO's n Leadings for help :/

Not really much advice to give, besides that you have to stick with everything. 5:45am mornings, 10:30 lights out ...

Yes. It does. Look forward to it :P

And by balls juggled, what I meant is that after pressing just above while making you cough, he then gives you a quick rub down to make sure you got 2. Have fun

Don't all trades do the same test, and then the 'tiffs do another 1? As when I went to do mine, there was me and another guy applying for Marines, 2 chefs, 1 nurse assistant, 3 Techies and some other trades...all doing the same test.

I also recieved one, but beware, all the people who sat the test when I did admitted that the test was ALOT harder than the practice questions. So don't be complacent that you can complete the booklet easy, because the real thing comes with the added bonuses of harder questions, and alot of people's ...

It was the 1 with the 5 parts, family, hobbies, work experience...etc. Not sure what role it was, but got a feeling it was some type of mechanic or technician role.

After the interview, he still had to do a medical and get his references checked so I'm not sure. I'll see if I can get him to post ...

It depends on your fitness. Personally, I do 20 (15 at my 800m speed, then nail the last 5). Then I do my other workouts (keep to my 3500 sit-upts and 3500 push-ups a week) and then when they are finished, I just do as many suicides as I can at 800m speed.

I know a guy who applied for trade position (can't remember what as), found out at the end of the interview whether he made it or not (the interview actually ended on the line 'well done, you've succeeded'). After that, he went straight to the medical and had that done within 2 hours of the ...
