Firsty whoever told u lads u got the first distinguished pass in 15 years is havin you on, loads of troops get a distinguished pass, i think both troops either side of ours got one. Lodgi, fair one on the tug of war, but to be fair i reckon the final would have been closer if we hadnt had to beat ...

Hi mate, theres a lad in my troop whos 33 and is one of the better blokes there. Granted it might be because he was in the RGJ for 6 years but his age is still not a factor, apart from him being known as grandad!!

Unlucky there Chris, sounds like you were definetly fit enough to pass so in 3-4 months it should be a walkthrough for you. At least you realised what i did from my PRMC, you dont need to be super fit to pass as long as you just dont quit even if your only running at 1mph. Keep up the training and ...

PRMC DIARY 9th Jan

This is just a quick rundown on the PRMC i was on. My memories not the best so if Mat or White read this, write down what ive left out.

Arrived about 2pm on the Tuesday with about 5 other lads. Unpacked our kit into our lockers and then made our beds. Waited around for everyone else to turn up ...

My 3 miler time was just over 21 minutes before i went down, which was one of the main reasons why i thought i wasnt ready to go down as there are lots of people who post their times on here of around 18 and 19 minutes. All i can say to this is dont look at their times and think anything of it, the ...

PRMC Passed!!

Well lads, just got back about an hour ago with my pass certificate and a nice new pair of boots. Feeling well chuffed as i didnt think i was ready to go down, but it just goes to show if you want it bad enough you will pass. Course started with about 49, think we ended up with about 29 passes, one ...

Well im off down to Lympstone tomorrow for my PRMC, finally! Already cancelled one due to injury, which is also why ive only been able to get back to training for the last 3 weeks. I'm definetly not as fit as i would like to be as i am not back to the standard i was at before i got injured, but ...

Hi guys,
Just thought i'd ask some of you for a little advice. I was supposed to do my PRMC on the 21st of November but had to put it back due to a knee injury. I have now got it on the 9th of January but have only been back training for about 2 weeks. I was just wondering what some of you would ...
