On passing the PRMC we were told that you are no longer issued with boots and are given them when you start basic but my mate went a week later and passed and was given some, is it worth buying some so I can break them in before I go back?

I am starting basic on the 15th November and just want to know what sort of level my fitness has to be at? After passing the PRMC I have let it slip a little

I had my PRMC on the 15th-18th of September and passed. I will be joining on the November 15th just wondered if there is anybody joining on the same date?
