The course is 21 weeks, pre-para has nothing to do with basics. The course was extended by 3 weeks this year and most of the leaflets have not been updated and the AFCO's aren't clued up.

Hey fellas.

Just had familes day yesterday so passed out of recruit phase. Training is a good laugh but very hard work!!! Cracking on with the good stuff now, moving into Gunner phase.

Ah the Square Of Happiness!!! Good memories :( .

Whats all this about Juno and El Al!!! Get yourself on Capitals ...

Just a message to say so long, setting off down to Honington tomoroow afternoon (having to go down a day early because of the crap train times on sunday).

Woods being haunted, of course they are littered with the souls of those wannabees who couldn't keep up on the PGAC and TG course. :lol:

A Corporal on my PGAC said that Barnham was used by the RAF for chemical weapon experiments, mustard gas if memory serves me correctly :-?

Kit list help

Hey Guys.

Start my TG course on 20th Feb (going down on 19th though as there's f@#k all trains on the Sunday) and just wondered if anyone knew any kit/items not included on the kit list that would be useful to take down with me.

I've searched and it came back with a few items but none were ...

Hi Melly.

Loads of people been posting saying that they are worried about the interview and aptitude tests. My advise is not to worry bout it.

For the aptitude tests just turn up relaxed and coinfident. You can't really revise for most of it because they test your IQ based skills, things such as ...

Try doing some interval training or sprint work, will help build up your stamina levels.

Also recommend playing 5-a-side football (or any other team sport), if you play with guys that have good fitness levels then it can be really knackering and will improve your bleep test.
