I never knew about the museum lol. The only experience i have of it is being dumped in the training area and sleeping under a bivvie for a week and getting bugged out at three in the morning evey night.

has anyone ever been to (either on exercise or whatever) A place called Bovington in Dorset?

well when i first joined the A.T.C i was all R.A.F and like every other man and his dog that joins the A.T.C, i wanted to be a pilot.
Luckily, our CO was ex R.A.F Regiment, and the squadron is very close to the local TA unit.
So it didnt take long before i was going on exercises with the T.A and ...

My Local TA unit does it every so often and when they do they invite around 6 or so of us cadets with them.

I missed out last time, hoping to go this summer with them though

im reading a book by the guy who did band of brothers, Called pegasus bridge, however it's not really a history of the regiment, just a story of one of the battles they thought in WWII.

Still good though...
