Work & Shift Patterns

In the industry I am in (Aircraft Engineering), nearly everyone works shift, for me, its looking like 4on 4 off nightshift (starting in May).

As someone who is shortly joining holding troop and then hopefully onto recruit training, how do you ...

Bristol's intake is in September/October, so I have worked my training up to that.

However when I attended the presentation evening we were told Bristol does run a holding troop, and as such I'd be advised to attend.

I spoke with the recruiting Cpl, saying that I dont ...

Yeah it's not a great situation, but life is what you ...

I'll tag this bone question on to the end of this thread since it is about RM Officers.

Does anyone know the upper age limit for RM Officer? I've heard 25? Does anyone know if exceptions may be granted to 26? For say, people in the RMR?

Just a thought at the moment, I'm planning to join the RMR ...

I'm also applying for RMR Bristol (Cardiff Det), starting the process now, but with a view to joining summer onwards, so September is ideal, can't spare the time before then really due to it being the last 3 months of university.

Goodluck lads :D

Life & my fitness to improve really, the latter is coming on well I feel.

Go see my Fighting Fit post in
the RM Forum, explains that I'm not sure if I will have to relocate in the summer, looks promising from what the boss said today, but depends how fast the penpushers at the CAA work!
