Not sure about this one. I've spent the last 11 years trying to forget about stuff. I think being exposed to the same things would only set me back even further.

As a matter of fact, I served 6 months in Bosnia before I even did a recruits course. That's how shitty organised the T.A is. They even made me do a recruit course after I got demobbed!

Petition For An Ex Service Award

I created this petition further to one of my earlier posts. It is shocking that some people out there have served their country for many years and don't have an official award to show for it. Bloody hell, the yanks practically get a medal for posting a letter to a war zone. Please Sign Folks! http:/...

Surely someone with 22 years service would at the very least have received the LSGC medal to show for their service.

Veterans Badge

Just received my Veterans Badge this morning. I only applied for it a week ago. Excellent quality badge in a quality case. Worth applying for.

Bosnia Veterans

To my knowledge there are currently no organisations set up for veterans of the Bosnia peacekeeping campaign.

Does anyone out there know what would be involved in setting up a veterans association for personnel who served in the Former Yugoslavia

My D.S told me that you should add on 2 months to the time that you think you should prepare for selection. Nowadays selection is more progressive so for the first phase they are actually building up your fitness for phase 2 or the hill phase. Saying that, the fitter you are prior to selection the e...

Just do it

I can't believe the number of posts regarding the TA SAS. If anyone out there wants to know about it, why don't you just give them a call and bloody well go for selection. I,m not going to put the phone number down here. Show some initiative and look on the net for it. They are actively advertising ...

TA SAS selection is a 14 month course which you attend on every drill night and every second weekend as well as a 2 week battle camp(if you pass test week). There is also a one week course you must attend just after christmas and also a couple of long weekends.
