No they are not involved.

You do sit-ups, press ups and the "bleep test" now.

Para POC - Rubber soled boots.

This may sound like a completely ridiculous question but i just received my info from the Para POC and have been trying to get through to them on the phone all morning. It states I need some "rubber soled boots with a heel block". Would the sort of thing that I'm looking for be available from an ...

16 AA brigade booklet

I found this on the army site. Its quite interesting if you want some backround info on the brigade.

It states that at any time, 2 Parachute battalions will be part of 16AAB. Does anyone know what division/brigade the other battalion (1Para at the moment) is part of?

The file is about 10mb.

Or if flying is your thing you could look at the army air corp. Get qualified for free.

With regards to your question "How many have done it"
During my RCB there was a South African, a guy from New Zealand and a Canadian. That was out of about 60 people.

I am speaking from applying for a commission at the moment and not for university sponsorship but I hope this helps.

You need to get onto the your careers adviser to arrange a meeting with the Paras. You will then go on a one day POI (interview) and if they like you they will invite you back for a ...

I have the answer....

"Natural dog poo is mostly white powdered bone about one third the volume of the artificial stuff. The foul excrement on the soles of our shoes is indigestible cereal and bacteria, the end product of unnatural feeding"

The end of ...

So far as I have seen there has been no mention of the pathfinder platoon. Does anyone have a clue if they will be affected?

Also..if they are re-structuring 1 Para...but creating a tri service battallion, how could they keep the full manpower of 1Para and still bring new troops from other ...

It will be interesting to see when these new defence changes that affect the Parachute regiment come into play. I dont much fancy being called a Ranger after wanting to be called a Para most of my life. There is a lot of rumours flying around about a new cap badge and beret also. if thats the case ...
