Does anyone know how many young officers currently in this years batch are aged 18/19, or have not got a degree?

Many thanks

About 10 minutes is best prior to exercise. A warning though, people have died from taking such stacks as you can increase blood pressure without noticing.

But hey- get it down!!!!

Bicarbonate of soda neutrilises the build up of latic acid in the muscles as its an alkali, so stops the burning effect. I tried this once: you put 40grams with half a pint of orange juice. It tastes like crap and you continually burp for 5 minutes due to the release of carbon dioxide.

This was my 10 Week POC program. Taking into account also used for a marathon afterwards, so was tailored for both.

After the half marathon at the end of week 6, i had very little rest and as a result overtrained and notice a significant decrease in fitness upto POC. Rest is essential, if you ...

Any ideas?

I have recently failed at A.I.B for an officer in the Royal Marines. The president of the board strongly reccommend that i tried again in 2 years time and also wanted me to have gained some experience (as i am only 18).

I am debating what i should do, as 2 years is quite awhile. I visited AFCO the ...

I have done a POC diary. If you go to "search" and its under (POC, mrpageuk)

Im off on holiday this morning but when i return il will post a AIB diary.

As long as you have done the required physical work then the POC is achievable. The A.I.B requires a good knowledge of political affairs and your ...

Failed A.I.B

Unfortuantly i failed at A.I.B. The Board President recommended that i should join the RMR for some military experience, and try again in two years time, as i was very near to a pass.

If anyone has any questions regarding AIB or POC, i would be more than happy to answer them.

Well done for getting a place.

I passed POC back in March, and have got A.I.B in around a months time. Have you any advice and tips for AIB, other then that already posted on the site?

Anything would be really appreciated.

Thanks

By doing maximum repetitions you will overload the muscles and damage the fibres. When your sleeping your muscles repair themselves. The body adapts to these changes and the level of performance increases.

So do maximum repetitons for 1 set, and then a set number for the others.

Remember to use ...

- The rest either had degrees or were finishing them

Of the 7 that passed
- two (inc myself) were 18 doing A levels

The A.I.B is set to a very high standard, and is predominatly looking at the academic side of a person, as well as other qualities such as leadership and the overall character.
