I can only give out advise on my experiences. And just to say the Navy is a cost cutting Politcally correct health and safety ridden s**** hole. 1 in 2 duties...1 in 3 best for half a year, 1 weekend off a month. But thats just me......I`ll stop complaining before people start complaining.

Well what branch is your son intrested in joining? Some branches require a rating to have a higher RT score than others.

Hmmm Bovie and me made it through Raleigh and are now in phase 2 training at Collingwood for 6 months. Its pretty easy but some of the instructors can be a pain in the arse hehe :)
