I'm a karrimor KSB man myself, I'm on my second pair and combined have been wearing them fro over 15 years, highly recommended.
I go scrambling and climbing at least twice a week mainly in the beacons and north wales, and I've not had any problems. A bit of advice though what ever you decide to get ...

Well as stated on a previous thread, that Chemical shite we used to drink in Norway gets my vote as worst. I think it's called "THAT CHEMICAL NORWEGIAN SHITE". :evil:

Have to agree that VMs are worth their weight in 'HBM', not only do they live like 'Royalty' in the field (some would say better than when in barracks) but they could turn their hand to anything.

Hey, why not go the whole hog and get Lawrence Llywellyn Bowen to do the barracks, and Jeff Banks to redo the uniforms.
Could probably milk a few Tv programmes out of it, just imagine a competition along the lines of 'Pop Idol', where the public vote over the phone or pressing the 'red button' now ...

Well I watched both programmes, I wasn't that impressed with the 'SAS Survival Secrets' I was expecting a more history type documentary, quite disappointing. Although I will continue to watch the series.
I thought the 'Telemark' one was good though, Ray Mears is so enthusiastic and I thought it was ...
