I got a Timex Ironman watch, it's great for what you need as it's cheap, durable, waterproof, has an indigo light, alarm, stop watch etc.. I've had mine for about 3 years and I've never had any problems with it at all an it's been bashed from pillar to post over that time.

Leave for training this weekend. Nervous, but more eager to just get there and get it done. Packed everyting on the kitlist plus a few extras people suggested (zinc oxide tape, karabiner etc)

There's a couple of people selling good quality DVD copies of the original series on ebay, I bought one recently. Showed it to a bus load full of Arnhem veterans and thier families on the way back from Arnhem a few weeks back, they loved it! :wink:

Was hoping for a december intake really but i doubt that. Just have to see what happens

I don't think there is one in December from what i have been told, I think I am on the last intake before Christmas ...
