hey toffee i will be going down there with you on the that date i change my date from the 15th to the 29th as i could go in with 2 of my mates.

Thourghly looking forward to it my mate that i was supposed to go in with says its a amazing down there.

I just gotta keep up the fitness though working ...

They didnt give me insole. Well they did but they dont fit and if i snip them they will fall apart and ther arnt the most comfortest things in the world.

anyone know if i could buy my own?

All i was given when i passed was my boots and the certificate.

I was going down on the 15th but changed to the 29th so i can go down with 4 of my mates.

I had my pre entry briefing and did anyone else think that the kit list was a bit short i know some things might take a lot of room but it just doesnt seem like a lot to take.

Benno and Dirk, you know the insoles that they gave you with the boots and socks do yours fit? mine seem to wide but there the right size.

i dunno if i can or have to cut them down to size to fit, as i dont want to turn up with messed up insoles or take my own and get a mouth full of one of the ...

As about seeing different colours better im dont think that i do, i can tell red from red and green from green its just that book with the number on that i dont do very good on but on the other one where you gotta match the colours to the one in the middle i get ...

Im red/green colour blind but only slightly if you can only be slightly colour blind and i havent had a problem during my application unless there gonna spring it on my when i get down there.

Just got back from prmc (6-9 sept) with a nice new pair of boots :D

This time if found it much easier than last time (if thats possible :o ) i wasnt as nervous which i think was a main reason for failure last time as well as not being physically ready.

I got prmc on the 6th of sept i failed also on the three mile run sitting in the back of the van on the way back was the worst feeling i ever had it felt like everything just fell apart.

i did my first prmc at 16 and it wasnt a problem except i didnt pass but personaly i would wait till your at least 17 because you will be physically stronger so better chance of passing and not getting injured.

i was told by the afco that i might not be able to join unitl i was 17 anyway

Suppose you can my mate did he said it was fine but its up to the training staff and your gonna be doing loads of stuff so you wont even think of listening to music

i dont remember doing pull ups after my 3 miler just a couple of press-ups but the training schedule looks quite good
