All,

I recently applied for a commission in the British Army and stated that the Parachute Regiment was my preferred Regiment.

I have been giving a date for a 1-day interview, and if successful on that I will be brought forward for a Potential Officer Course (POC) which is over 4 days.

Gents,

I'm going through selection at present for 21 and was wondering if anyone could offer any advice without compromising the standards.

I looking for the advice on admin, preparation, blister prevention and cure, and what kit I should take which is not on the kit list.

The point about the greyman is true chunky, but there is a fine line.

The SAS need team players, you got help each other out through selection etc. Your arent competing for position. If 50 get through they will take 50.

When your operating in 4 man teams you dont need Rambo's.

Advice on packing your bergan.........HELP

Alrite,

I'm going tabbing at the weekend :drinking: and have managed to get all my kit together but I'm now struggling on the best way to pack it all in my bergan :( .

My biggest problem is the standard issue sleeping bag, which seems to be taking up all the room.

Alright,

Can anyone offer advice for getting fit..........ie going from nothing to 45miles across the Brecons in under 20hrs by Feb 2004 !!! :roll:

I’m lacking two things, a programme and motivation.

All advice greatly appreciated.

I am a Civil Servant working for the MOD.

I'm also trying to join the TAVR SAS so being a lazy a$$ed Civi I'm finding it a bit tough.

Just looking to get some advice on getting fit, how to survive the hills, how to stop blisters........all that wonderful knowledge you guys hold. 0X
