World War II sniper rifles
This is probably a matter of opinion, but was there any particular weapon that could be called tye "best" sniper rifle of World War II? Accuracy and reliability would be two of the most important factors.

A lot of people are highly sceptical about both of these designs, although the XM8 seems relatively straightforward (being basically a repackaged G-36).

Camoflage Uniforms
Well, the US Marines went and got themselves a new camo uniform and now the Army and Air Force are jumping on the bandwagon. Looks like each US service will have it's own distinctive pattern. Isn't this carrying things a bit far?

C-17 in RAF service
What's the overall opinion of this aircraft thus far in it's service career? Is it all it's cracked up to be? If I recall, the ones in RAF use have to be returned at the end of the leasing agreement.

Impressive firepower display, but the M60 series seems to be generally disliked.

So what's the latest on this controversial rifle? First we hear that the improvements weren't all they were cracked up to be, and then it seems to have worked well enough in the current unpleasantness. Opinions?
