I was told that there are more parachute trained royal marines than paras by my AFCO and also that a YO just out from training has the oppertunity to command a para platoon as the para's are vastly short of lower ranking officers and the RM's are over producing officers. Interesting thought eh?

It could be growth pains depending on your age. I had what you described when I was a bit younger and icing it will relieve the pain. My coach also told me to stick to the athletics track and grass land, staying well clear of road running, I did this and now I've grown abit more I don't get any more...

If we are being picky Bootneck it should be THERE not their which is used for possesion i.e. their incorrect use of grammar.

I'd say do a majority of say 3 sets of 20, and once, mabie twice a week do 3 sets of max but not too often as to not overtrain. All types of training will produce some results, its just making sure that you don't over train and vary to avoid getting completely fed up with your routine. Whatever happ...
