However they are also meant to be trained in construction and how to build defences, ie, barbed wire etc... They are also trained Infantry soldiers. They are part of the Logistics Corps.

Oops, my mistake.

I considered joining the Pioneers also, until I realised what they really did.

I've now chosen to play with horses in the Household Cavalry haha.

Seriously though, I'd give the Pioneers a miss. But it's your career no-one elses.

The army and children...

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. My names Matt, 22 and im from the West Midlands.

I am considering a career in the army, and am currently at the medical stage. I have a few questions however that i hope some of you may be able to answer...

1) I have 2 children, however i am not married to ...
