Hello. My name is Tom Gerace. Im a police officer/SWAT team member in New York state USA. I was a military policeman in the US Army as well. Im always looking for good tactical and training information and stumbled across this site on a google search. I hope to learn and contribute here.

Good Morning Colonial Cousin Tom......

How nice it is to see you visiting our historical shores and the good old Green fields of England... Enjoy your trip BUT just remember it is US, that is the British, who speak English and you lot over there, who speak with funny (many) accents.... Get that one under the belt and you'll be made.

Shirly that should be the other way round.....'Pull up a Bud and have a saddle' specially if you come from Texas....Where they only have Steers and Queers... N'I dont see no horns on you.....Friend??

Thats a fact. I live/work in a town called Cheektowaga (native american word for "land of the crabapple") a town of about 98,000 people near Buffalo NY, which is the other end of the state from NYC. The SWAT work is interesting but much less frequent than NYC. Been a cop for going on 5 years now.

I just went back to the job.
Missed it,got bored and so I get a cruiser and a uniform to chase raccoons around a parking lot at 0200Hrs and get bored some more.
Small county deputy sheriff.
Highlights are county court duty and parades.
