Hi all, I'm just about to go for my first interviews, etc for the RMP TAs. Part of the induction is apaper based entrance exam whic, I believe, is along the lines of numeracy, english, etc. I would appreciate information from anyone who has knowledge or experience of the exam. My maths is crap and it would help if I had an idea what to study before taking it,
Cheers, Cameron.

Hi, and welcome to the site. As for the exam, a poorly trained monkey could pass it after a heavy drinking sesison with an Irish rugby team.
Its easy, dont panic when you see all the numbers and youll be fine.

I sat the exam a few months back now and its still pretty fresh, if you can add, subtract, multiply and divide small numbers you will be fine. Theres also a section on shapes and rotation which I found quite hard as I was nursing a hangover but if you take your time you'll walk it. After panicing the whole way through I found out I'd only dropped two marks in the whole thing.
By the way out of interest where are you based?
