I dont want to start another of these 'stupid cadets buying sh*t they dnt need'. but wats the deal with every other reg i see having a sas smock? are they more convenient or just the 'calvin klein boxer shorts' of combat dress?

(if youre gonna write something annoying about me being a cadet and not knowing what im talking about then pls pm me. :fist:

I believe some people think that they are superior to the issue 95 field jacket.

They have larger pockets I believe

just used my sas smock on exercise and they are definately not over rated. They dry so quickly and because of great english weather they are bloody brilliant for a weekend ex. they get wet and dry out in acouple of mins.
good stuff :) and loads of storage for my womp and curly bars :D

I guess you have more room for mummy's sandwiches and all the other essential cadet items discussed in that topic that was deleted  Just to remember a few...conkers, fishing gear, all the ammunition that cadets never get issued with!!

By the way, why wont you answer Chris Fow's question about whether you are a CCF year 10 or an ACF 1Star??

And you're hard now because you're old enough to join big boy's Army. I always find people pathetic who take the p*ss out of cadets. So you're older than him. Whoopee sh*t. For all you know, he might be in special forces in 10 years or so, taking the p*ss out of you because you're a rupert.
