The 4 man fire team

Is this is right:?
In a 4 man fire team:
1 guy has a SA80
1 guy has a SA80 with granade launcher
1 guy has a minimi
1 guy has a L86 light support weapon
Also is there a certian way in which the army chooses during training who gets what role in the 4 man fire team (ie If theres a left handed guy he gets the minimi) or do they randomly pick a guy for a job?
Cheers

Depends on your units role mate, and the task in hand for the patrol.
As far as the SOP goes that is unit dependant by the looks of things at the mo.

Yes, in light role battalions. Armoured infantry are scaled to one Minimi per section and ISTR fewer HK-79's (i.e. one). The 30mm cannon and chain gun on the Warrior is pretty good at suppression
The LSW is essentially a long ranged weapon, so the best shot should have it. The FT Commander (SC or 2i/c) has the rifle (plus a radio) and the remaining two would have the Minimi and 79.
