Hi
I want to find out about my grandfathers military service during ww2. He was in the Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment Number 6106584 in Feb 1942 and was then transferred to the RAOC in July 1942, his service ended in Dec 1945. He died when I was a year old in 1965 so I did not know him at all. Why would he have been transferred? Who d I contact for his service records?
