Overheads army

Hey I’m looking to join the army soon and I’m wondering what’s the cost of living in the army like food and accommodation charges I’ve tried asking army recruiters but they butter it up and just say well lower then the cost of living on civilian street but when I ask for numbers there get brain fog 
so any help would be much appreciated
