trying to find old collegues of my dad is next to impossible. still i keep looking. he joined at deal in 42, trained there and at heron yovil, before landing at naples in 43. fought in cassino anzio commachio and possibly termoli . did any of you guys fight there also??? would love to here your stories as im writing a family book on his time in the war.

I don't think that there is anyone from that era using this site. I would suggest that you try the Royal Marines Association sites where some guys from that era reside. You can access the RMA sites via the "Once a Marine" site.
