Joining process timeline

hello I'm hoping to be starting the joining process in the coming weeks but unfortunately I still don't have a good grasp on the joining process timeline like the how long it takes to go from the physical to the prmc? I only ask as I am currently helping my mother in France. Any and all help and experiences would be greatly appreciated.
