Hi, so as expected i failed my medical for the RN due to 'double vision' being on my medical records. i have been advised by my careers advisor to appeal as i haven't experienced double vision since i was younger as it is now corrected with glasses. I'm going to try and appeal it, but of course this doesn't mean i will gain entry. My afco mentioned the RFA to me, so i have done quite a bit of research and am interested in the apprenticeship scheme that they do, does anyone know if i will be able to gain entry with the RFA or will my medical be declined again due to double vision? not sure of the eligibility criteria for RFA. thanks!
