This is in addition to my last post, but if I wanted to be a pilot in the RAF and the age limit was still 25, does that mean before exactly 25 on application, on commissioning or?
I don't understand this at all. I may have to completely reconsider my career/education plan.

You would need to have the qualifications required and fitness and apply before you have passed 25, even though you might have the qualification there is no grantee that they will accept you.
