I do hope my query here is in the correct place ..............

I have a friend building / painting two Para 120mm figures Bren & Piat gunner for me, he needs some advice please his question is did Paras at Arnhem carry any insignia for regiment on their smocks other than the wings and rank on the sleeve ?

Any help would be gratefully recieved or indeed pictorial information many thanks.

The wings they always wore with pride. Ranks again Yes, Battalion Squares I would also think so as we aore them into action just after the war. You could also drop a note to the Airborne Assault Museum or look through their photo's.
