Please help, regards to hypothyroidism and Enlistment

Hello, my name is Dylan, I wanted to start off by thanking you for reading my thread.
I've been considering join the British Army even though I'm Canadian. Now the since Canada is part of the commonwealth I'm able too. (Concerning why I wish not to join Canadian forces is simply the fact of budget cuts or nickname "decade of darkness", the amount of jobs are decreasing and there is going to be little work for Canadian forces in the future)
[General Information]
I have been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. Checking the medical conditions on the British army website, I see it's not listed in the checklist.
This being said, I researched about it and I've read many conflicting arguments.
Alot of people talk about 'suffering from hypothyroidism' and a lot of people talk about regular blood testing check ups.
This in my case is false. I rarely get a blood test, maybe once every two years. Including, the time when I was diagnosed was when I was living a unhealthy life.
Eating party size popcorn bags for breakfast lunch and dinner. Now I'm living very healthy life style and am physically fit.
I do take synthroid, medication has never been changed for the past 4 years, no higher or lower dose. And there has been cases where I haven't had it for weeks and felt fine.
Now, some say since it has to be "regularly checked on" I wouldn't be able to join (which again is not my case), others for example say this
"It states in Army Regulations 40 -501 that Hypothyroidism medicated is allowed its Hyperthyroidism that is not allowed"
I don't know what to believe with this conflicting information. I've used live chat to ask for help regarding the situation and yet was directed to the medical conditions page which didn't yield a answer.
[Question]
So please, am I able to Enlist as a solider to the British Army with hypothyroidism?
