uniform

Does anyone know if an RAF veteran is allowed to wear no1 uniform to special events such as remembrance day ect

What you should wear is Grey Slacks and a Blazer with either a RAF Badge on the pocket our your squadron crest, you may also wear the RAF Beret and Badge. Medals of course can be worn along with a RAF tie, but wearing a RAF uniform would be bad form and could lead to problems.

All your kit should have beeen handed back, I just wonder why you would need to wear them when you no longer serve?

Short answer is no.
