Little brother wants to know which to join the Royal Marines or the Commando Engineer regiment please reply

Well, which does he want to do? Engineering or Infantry? Does he want to mess about with JCBs or mess about with mortars?

2 different animals.
The RM route means he will become an RM first then if he wants specialise as an Assault Engineer in then Corps.
Commando Engineer is a Royal Engineer first who once qualified will then need to get a place on the All arms Commando course and if successful will then join 24 Cdo Regt RE.
I'd suggest he goes to the RM and Army websites and has a look to see just what he wants to do. Good Luck.
