Howdy peeps

Just signed up today. I'm an ex-matelot who was medically discharged in '96 & qualified in Hypnotherapy for my resettlement (hence the user name) & did that for 13 years. I'm now working on a couple of Veteran related resources, & I've also got a self-help book on PTSD published (100% of my profits go to Combat Stress). I won't plug them,as that would be incredibly rude in an introduction, just letting you know who I am.
I used to contribute quite a bit on HMForces.co.uk, & then one day it disappeared without any warning or reason. So been looking for a new home to share opinions & banter, because you don't find it much in civvy street.

Welcome aboard HypnoStu!
If you want to plug your book in the Advertising section of the forum, feel free...
I did a calendar shoot a year or two ago for Combat Stress, and had reason to call them myself last year, so they're one of my favourite 'military' charities.

I'll post it up later then, thanks. Like I said, I don't make anything off the book.

Thanks Beast, the book was launched last year, but never got any media interest, even though I did a tandem skydive to prove one of the techniques in the book can work (I hate heights). I've also been into HMP Stafford to talk to some Vets & left them a couple of copies, they loved the talk & the book.
All I'm interested in, is getting the book into the hands of people who might find it useful. Don't do therapy anymore, so it's not an attempt to get clients.
