It looks nice freshly painted, but to challenge Anglo-American hegemony on water? -- would have that boat at the bottom in 30 min. Why even put money into something like that ??

The reason they will spend money on this sort of thing is gain experience on Naval air power. You just can't go out and build a carrier and operate 100% successfully, you need to build up a corp of people that know what they are doing, and then improve on that.
