This may be a long shot but i was wondering if you may have know someone who joined the royal signals around that time. His name was Stuart Barlow a mancunian. He was my father. He later got his wings and transferred to 2 Para.

I was a long time ago and might not have even been in your squadron, but it is worth a try.
