Hi Guys,
My name is Kieran Hughes. I have been accepted to the British army as an officer in theory, all i have to do is pay off my court fine in order to start my training. I am currently unemployed, this is because i have a criminal record, and therefore am finding it hard to get a job and pay off my fine. I really need to find somewhere or someone from whom i can take the required money and pay off the fine, then join the army, and then pay it back a.s.a.p (which would be quick as most things are heavily subsidised in the army). Please if you have any idea's please help me, many thanks - Kieran.

Will the Army still take you with a criminal record...Also if you can't pay the fine now whats the chances of you paying any one back that loans you the money

I take it you're not very good at theory.... I rather suspect the 'fine' must be quite substantial if you're having to beg for help.....

OK, so maybe my post wasn't as well worded as it could have been. I did not literally mean "take" the money, merely borrow - and of course i could pay it back once on the payroll with the army. But thanks for all you "help"

You've got a criminal record, owe money and want to be an officer in the Army. So, in order to try and resolve your problems you ask on an internet forum for advice. Fine officer material. Heaven help us!!!!

"take the required money"? does that mean "steal" or "rob"?
