Harlow 10 for Help for Heroes

Post by echoman1 »

Harlow 10,
907 Troop EY Sponsored by http://www.troopsupplies.com

Last year 882 Troop EY from 70 Signals Sqn started running the Harlow 10 for help for heroes.

All together we raised over £1500. Not bad for a first year attempt.

Since last year we were disbanded and sent to another sqn.

We are now 907 Troop EY from 68 Signals Sqn.

We are going to do the fund-raiser again this year and hope to beat our last years total.

Here is some more information about the event.
A 10 mile road race around Harlow that is usually held at the end of July/beginning of August. This event has been run every year since 1990 and attracts 400-500 competitors from far and wide – previous winners of the race have come from South Africa and Mauritius.

We "tabbed" 10 Miles with CTF weight in just 2hrs 04mins which isn't too bad for the lack of training we did.

Our team of ten, aim to do better this year.
