barb test got 54 ....how do they get 80 points ???

I had English classes as everyone else but it was a long time ago so thanks for the joke and help...so LIFE its worth watching and living but opportunities to do what you love its once in a life time so its not fair to say that I am not smart enough or good enough .....

it wasn't a joke. and i'm not saying your not smart or good enough hahah
it was a serious suggestion. maybe some classes with a tutor to refine your english vocabulary will help if you are struggling to understand select words in your BARB test
alternatively, use the BARB test practice book they give you before (or look online if there is anything) and practice!
if you notice anything you don't understand, ask somebody.. i.e someone on here, your recruiter, friend or family member - and that should prepare you for the real thing as they are virtually the same

Yes English classes are available for people who are not in education, I think it's called something like "English for improvers".
I know people who have done it and it's a good course.

all you can do is practice mate. dont really have any other suggestions. that or english classes. thing is theres loads of them and they'll just be pulled from a pot and fired at your randomly.

You can find these tests on line so you can get some practice in before you take it for real

Honestly, from reading your posts on here your written English isn't very good, and in the RMP you would have to write a lot of reports, so an English For Improvers course would have a lot of benefits for you. Isn't it worth it for your 'dream job'?
