I regret to have to inform you all that Captain Richard Todd OBE died yesterday, 3 December 2009 aged 90 years.



There will be a private family funeral with a Memorial Service to follow in the New Year. Further information will be provided as and when it is available.

I read "Pegasus Bridge" by Stephen E Ambrose a few years back. The book mentions Richard Todd and the part he played in the taking of this famous bridge.

Another of the old great actors and a true war hero.
