Hi, i'm a student journalist and i was just wondering whether anyone out there knows if the postal strike is affecting the troops in afghanistan, in relation to them receiving mail and parcels from family and friends? Or if anyone has sent mail to the troops which they have not recieved due to the strike? Particularly as Christmas is fast approaching.

Mail is coming out to AFG fine, no problems there. Mail going back to the UK was held up for a period at the end of September, but there isn't a huge amount sent from AFG - UK anyway.
