max BMI for the army

ok so we know im not the most healthy person but for some reason iv put on weight in the last few weeks im now holding at 18.8 instead of 18.4 (what i was when the army recruitment office calculated my bmi) and i was told to watch my weight. so what is the max BMI and do they retest you on the ADSC if so i need to diet (again). i ask this because my bmi is now 26.9 :-?

Below is the categories for the BMI my friend, mines 18.9

BMI Categories:

Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
Overweight = 25-29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

ok so ill start my diet tomoro and hopefully i will lose a stone in 11 days
im using the fatloss4idiots diet :)

Max BMI is 32 with bodyfat below 20%.

My BMI was 30.5 when i joined, they asked me to lean up but i passed everything at selection, my BMI now is 26.6 after 14 weeks in phase 1.

ok iv droped down to 17,11st part from dieting and part from being sick with a stomach bug and eating nothink but dry toast for the last 3 days and im sick of eating dry toast :bad-words:
im still not feeling 100% so dry toast again for me tomoro :( but after that i will give it a few days and start my diet again and hopefully get my weight to 17.5st or below by the beginning of december.
i am hopeing that when i start running again my run tume will improve abit due to the weight iv lost

Liam, friendly advice, get yourself a racing bicycle and go out for some long fastish rides in the evening & at weekends.

Easier on the joints than running for us heavy blokes and much more enjoyable.....and I've found, much more effective as well.

But also cycle and walk as much as possible. I haven't been on a bus in months!

lol i am still paying off my laser eye surgery and untill my work desides to give me some more than 24h a week (laser eye surgery is worth every penny of the £4000 i payed)

nope you just have to supply them with the info about it e.g. perscription befor and after
