Leave one port sail the Ice Breaker at about 15 knots till you get to the next port where you deliver it

If your really nervous you could plan what you want to say before hand and mermorise it, could help...though not every one may be listening, i mean it does get boring after a while.

Or worse come to worse rhyme of your favorite chat up lines and say you got confused about what type of ice breaker it was :D

Your ACIO/AFCO should give you a list of the topics to cover on your Ice Breaker?
Practise infront of your friends and parents till your confident with it.
Search through my posts, Im certain I have put the list up on here before!

chest out, hands behind your back, Def not in your pockets or moving about wildly. Speak clearly and loudly and dont try and rush it or you will have to chat more in the same time period. Try and keep eye contact with your audience or if you cant, try focusing on 1 point. its worse than having roving eyes or looking down.

Be confident, your talking about yourself and your reasons you cant give a wrong answer. Try not to say err or umm or the like too much. Its not a pass or fail on what you say its the way you say it that counts.

Do not over rehearse it!!!! you will sound like an idiot.
Learn the bullet points ie headings, then just fill in the gaps.
Relax and enjoy it, how often have you had the chance to talk yourself up in front of an audience.

Just don't worry about it. By the time you do it you will have had plenty of time to get chatting with other lads so it won't feel like you're talking to complete strangers. The 2 minutes will fly by. Even if you only say a little about each bullet point, 2 minutes is barely enough. I could've talked for ages, myself is my fave subject :D
