Hi,

I have recently sent in an application to the RAF, I have had an email to say I do not qualify,

''You must be resident in the UK for 5 years immediately prior to submitting your application to be eligible to apply''

I have been living in Spain for the past 2 years but still a resident of the UK, do you think they may have misunderstood or are they correct ?

:agrue:

If you've been living in Spain for the last 2 years then you haven't been resident in the UK, you've been a resident of Spain, you are still a British citizen of course but you haven't been living here, that's what resident means...

Buck91, please type in English. I get the impression from what you attempted to post that you're advising people to lie on their applications - this is about the worst thing you can possibly do.

If you've been active in Spain for the endure 2 years again you haven't been aborigine in the UK, you've been a aborigine of Spain, you are still a British aborigine of advance but you haven't been active here, that's what aborigine means...
