Tricky one, What gets me is Obama's campaign revovled around his claim to being the candidate of change. Being the only one who offered himself as a decent change from the politics of the past two decades in the US. We have an ex USAF guy who is working with one of our TA units now, who told me that many democrats still adore Bill and Hill, and look back on the 90s with a certain fondness. So perhaps thats a factor for her appointment? Also just look at Hill's campaign, it is clear that she had some very clever strategists and had a shit hot campaign team, who are all now no doubt, working with her in the white house. So the old saying "if you can't beat them join them" may of rang through his head.

Saying that though, Obama had bother control her during the campaign, what makes him and his people think he'll be able to control her and hers once they're back inside the White House is beyond me.
