Few questions for Sandy The Guvnor

Hello everyone I take into account everyone's opinions on this forum but would just like to ask mainly sandy these due to his knowledge and his experience, but to anyone else who knows please post. This is not another post about how I can do more press ups etc... but a post as to what is needed when starting depot and a few questions on training, again not how to increase or get better but how far. Questions now then:
1) When arriving at Para depot what would be a good number of press ups, sit ups, pull ups be for a recruit to be able to do? and in what time range?
2) Prior to attending Para depot how far should I be running? Ive been told diffrent distances of diffrent people/websites and again in what time frames should I be aiming for?
3) At depot what things other than PT gets people back trooped or makes them drop out? I know its going to be extremeley hard I was just wondering because everyone seems to think its just the PT thats hard

1, you should be aiming too as many as possible, there is a set standard on the PFT but on a certain circuit training lesson of mine you will do 200+ press up, sit ups etc. On the pull ups do them over grasp.
2, you should be running at least 5 miles before starting the runs start at 9min miles and will just keep getting longer and faster.
3, its back squadded not back trooped, loads of reason why joes get back squadded/quit. They could be total mongs on a number of things weapon handling, shooting etc. They might miss or fail an exercise. They see the hats having an easy time here and transfer too them

Thanks sandy, at the min I am getting 35 press ups, 40 sit ups, only 2 pull ups (I know long way to go yet) and doing 1.5 and 3 milers I was just wondering is the CIC Para thing on the other post correct? and if I got my press-ups to 50 in 2 mins would that be enough (obilously I will try and pass this) for me to start Para depot with? and 6 pull ups? 200+ press ups

wow lol what distances do the runs start off at?

the runs start at 5 miles and ref the 200+ press ups this is how it is done
4 sets of 10 cones each cone approx 4m apart joes runs too 1st cone does 1 press up gets up sprints too next cone does 2 press ups, then 3, 4 all the way to 10 sprints back too the start does 11 all the way to 20
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 add them all together = 210

Got another quick question, am quite new to these forums.
Im currently in the app proccess of joining the army to join the parachute regiment, i thought this would be a good question for you since you do MMA and stuff like that, once in batalion if i make it that far is there any local jiujitsu clubs or any within the batalions? ive just wondered as ive done jiu jitsu for years and would still like to do a bit if i could when i joined up, thanks
