Should'nt do mate, if you have full funcionality of it and can do everything you could before then you will be fine. Just don't mention it at your medical ;).

I'v had whats termed 'boxers fracture' couple of times in the past and also broke fingers. it wont stop you unless, as mentioned quite correctly in above post, you dont have full and correct function of the hand.
So you will be ok as long as your hands are not knarly shaped claws, or permanently fixed into a GI JOE kung fu type grip

You know i'm not serving, unless it was sarcasm which I don't get. Was just re-typing a answer to a question that has been asked a few times before.

 it does look a bit precarious *spelling*

never noticed it before
I wouldn't lie/neglect to divulge conditions on the old medical though as it could come back and bite you right in the ass. which would more than likely lead to you being given the boot.
I think the worst that'll happen is your application could be delayed as the adsc would write to your gp for further information on it, that's if it was a concern for them.

I forgot to ask earlier, I was naughtly side tracked by the glare off of Toms awesome brain protruding through his head....

How do you know your hand has M.E.? Has it been diagnosed or did Tom tell you? (refer to title of thread for those needing a pointer)

Has he cum yet Tom?

Well, you did kinda tell him not to mention on his medical a fracture which he had treated, PRESUMABLY by the NHS, which will therefore quite possibly feature on his medical records. If it does and he 'forgets' it, it hardly gives a good first impression and may well be sufficient to put a premature end to his application.

Although from what I've heard some fractures are more cause for worry than others, MSI mentioned something about having to keep a training diary for six months to show you're fit. Being your hand and over a year I'd hazard a guess that it won't matter a bit, but obviously I'm not a Doc (his next post might even give you a serious answer, but only if you're very very lucky  ).

Thats what the wink smilley was for. It should be on his medical records anyway so the Doctor doing the medical would know.
