Hi everybody, at the minute I am trying my very best to strip the fat off and would like to continue this at ITC but on the ADSC dvd it shows you they eat chips etc so ive got a few questions:
1. At ITC is there food you can eat thats healthy and wont put me weight back on i.e chips?
2. What are my chances of still being able to lose weight during my 26 week course if I eat chips etc..?
3. Can you still use the gym/pool at ITC on weekends & weekdays (after we've finished the day)
4. How much time would I have free In my unit (1 or 2 Rifles or Paras hopefully) when I finally get into it, to train?

in my opinion i don think it will matter too much if you eat chips because of the level of training you will be doing you will lose more rather than gain just because of a few chips

The food at itc catterick is garbage with no nutritional value and it doesn't even taste good, this particularly applies to breakfast which during p-coy etc it was often an effort to get down you.
You will lose weight, don't worry about that!! Even if you have chips at least once a day, a fry up each morning, pizza in the evening and a few chocolate bars.

Mate the amount of phys you do at ITC you can't get enough food, espicially PARA training, so don't worry about weight. I was constantly hungrey!
The food is ok, plenty of veg and carbs, but you gotta treat yourself sometimes, fill that plate! If your serious about fitness you know whats good and whats not.
Think you get a chance to use the gym, but why would you want to do more PT.... seriously, you will be too tired!
You get a bit more free time as the weeks pass. After a while you get your weekends and nights to yourself, but there is always plenty to do.... iron, clean and iron and clean.....

I went in 13.5 to 14 stone and shrank to around 12 stone. trust me you are going to be running around like greased whippets and feel like your working very long days. Its pretty weird actually because your troffing loads from the scoff house whenever your fed and watered yet continue to shrink. you pack it all back on when you hit the gym after recruits is finished though haha

I think the only thing I ate whilst at Catterick was chips.
