I read an artical in the news paper that this bloke is claiming £142,000 from his mates, because they nicked this video and put it on the internet. Apparantly he has had the piss taken so badly he needs psychological help....which doesn't supprise me atall.

I could tell you the whole story behind this... and the aftermath of the whole affair - but we could be here a while. You won't beleive what's happened because of this now - law suits, the works! The kid's even been given an appearance in the next star wars movie!

To tell partially Chrips story apparently the lad was video recording his schools basketball match and then he recorded the star wars thing over it

He then took the video in without realising what he done showed it in front of the school.


Then his mate's took the video and put it online

Well to elaborate...

The kids name is Ghyslain (yes an odd name in itself). He's french Canadian, and recorded this after school, somewhere in Canada, with no one around. He took the video home and that was that. Months later when some of his friends needed to return a video to the media department they picked up this one, having not wiped it or even watching it as when they saw the label on it they knew it was the one they needed. Anyway the media department watched it first so they knew what they were going to wipe and made copies. It then went to the IT staff of his school and made it onto the computers - where his friends found it along with the rest of the school. Of course, it made its when onto the internet and within 24hrs it was huge

I know this because I reguarly follow the community www.fark.com and they followed this kid and the whole story. Recently he received over $10,000 in donations, an iPod, a new stereo system and a cameo in the new Star wars movie - and he's STILL going to sue his school!

Jeez, all that stuff just cause he can rattle a poll and wobble about. Maybe i should gain some weight and become star wars keen.......or maybe not.

Well, I guess none of you ever got embarrassed playing Ninja or Captain Blood when you were kids...
My older sis and her girlfriends used to joke about my brother and I fencing with tree branches, etc...

Thing is I'm sure glad there were no video cameras in those days...

When i was a kid sword fighting and playing army with sticks with my brother was a favourite passtime. Well, it was until sombody from my school saw me, told everyone and i had the p**s taken out of me for ages.
